Chess

The objective of the Chess Club is to foster the knowledge and skills of chess players in IISc. A dedicated room with many chess boards, pieces and clocks are made available to students. The club organizes an Institute Wide Chess Tournament. The Club also organizes Rapid and Classic Chess Tournaments every year and gives valuable prizes to the top eight players.
We welcome interested students to come and play every day at the chess room on the first floor of Gymkhana near Ranade library.
